Small Business Grants North Carolina 2024. North carolina offers a variety of small business grants, including the incumbent worker training (iwt) and one north carolina grant programs. Our $50k grants are awarded to innovative startups with a proven concept — even if they are not yet profitable.

Women and minority owned businesses in north carolina as well as start up companies can get low cost or interest free loans and/or free grants for their business. Although the federal government does not publically provide grants for starting and expanding a business, in north carolina, some small business grants are given to business owners to start and grow their ventures, and grant recipients do not have to pay back the funding from government.
